About me

My name is Vadim, and I understand and have shown a keen interest in different cultures. I speak fluent English, Russian and Spanish, and some French, and I had a go at Ukrainian, Latin and German. Would love to learn more languages and am constantly working on improving my skills in the languages I know. I have lived and/or travelled in many countries of the world, and I have dealt with people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. In particular I have lived and/or travelled in such European countries as Russia, Great Britain, Switzerland, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Croatia, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Liechtenstein, Vatican, Andorra, and Gibraltar; such countries in America as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Brasil; such countries in Asia and the Pacific as New Zealand, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Abu-Dabi, Dubai, Qatar, Lebanon, Syria, New Caledonia, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Turkey, Guam, French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora-Bora, Hiva Oa, Nuku Hiva, Maupiti), South Korea, Cambodia; African countries: Egypt and Morocco.

I have lived and travelled for over 20 years in Australia which is my favourite country, and whose beauty I would like to show you. In this country I am particularly fond of Cairns and the region (Far North Queensland) which is a unique and one of the most diverse parts of the planet. As a gay man, I have been involved in the life of the local LGBT community, and Cairns is one of the most gay-friendly places on earth, and I would like to share it with you. I want you to feel comfortable and exited, and enjoy your stay here. Whoever you are, no matter what your social, ethnic or cultural background might be, no matter what country you come from, no matter what age you might have, I want you to fall in love with this land. Welcome!
